Full Disclosure

The Full Disclosure utility is a Bridgebase development to facilitate full and automatic disclosure of your partnership agreements. It effectively allows you to program your system into a Convention Card which then automatically alerts opponents as you bid. For Online Bridge, it is one of the most significant developments in many years (beyond the development of Bridgebase Online itself, of course!!). Full Disclosure alerts your agreements in much more detail than the normal alert box will allow, including suit lengths, what developments are likely from that point, as well as the exact nature of the bid being made.

Along with Diana Sawyer I have created a Full Disclosure card for the Precision System that I teach in BIL. In fact there are a number of different versions of these cards to cater for different implementations of the system and different Opponents. These cards are subject to constant revision. The number of different permuations that have to be precisely programmed into a Precision system where Asking Bids are in use are almost limitless. Indeed there will come a point beyond which we will not be able to go because of limitations BBO places on the size of an FD Card.

I am really grateful to Diana Sawyer for her assistance with this project. A lot of the graft has been hers rather than mine and without her enthusiasm we would not have got half as far as we have.
